I had a few consultations but when I went into Dr. Ackerman's office for my consult I knew immediately he was the surgeon for me. He is very meticulous and detailed oriented - I felt like he was analyzing my face carefully ensuring that he would get the results I desired. He took time to explain the specifics of the procedure and also showed me pictures of what I could expect looking at others of similar age. I am 65. I had a big event and his staff worked diligently to accommodate my schedule. His works is beautiful. I was afraid to look at first and my husband said it's incredible and so immediately I knew all was well. The after care was terrific - Dr. Ackerman takes things one step at a time to ensure patient understands the stage they are in. It takes time but I was happy with my results immediately. Scars are minimal and so well hidden - he takes great pride in his work. I look natural - just me looking a lot younger! From old lady to young lady is what he says and it's true! I highly recommend his as a surgeon. I had great confidence in him and love my results!

The results are absolutely amazing—My mother looks incredibly refreshed and natural and not over pulled. His entire team is supportive and professional through out her recovery. Dear Dr. Ackerman,
I wanted to write to thank you for the referral your gave me over a year ago to Dr. Boris Ackerman in Newport Beach. I came to see you for very heavy thighs and legs, wondering if you could do liposuction on that area. I appreciated your honesty when you told me that I would not have a good response to liposuction alone because I had “loose skin” and really needed a leg lift. You told me to only go to someone who did a lot of lower body lift, as it is a difficult surgery. You referred me to Dr. Ackerman and I underwent a “Lower Body Lift” in April 2003. I was in surgery for 5 hours and it is really only after the fact that I realize what a disaster this could have been in the wrong hands. Dr. Ackerman is such a skilled surgeon that the results are beyond my expectations. Dr. Ackerman told me that this is the longest incision in plastic surgery and the first couple of weeks were fairly uncomfortable, but manageable. I was back at the gym in 4 weeks and continue to do great.
