Face Lift
As people age, the effects of gravity, excess sun exposure and the stresses of daily life can be seen in their faces. Deep creases form between the nose and mouth, the jawline can grow slack and jowly and folds and fat deposits appear around the neck. A face lift will improve the most visible signs of aging by removing or repositioning excess fat, tightening underlying muscles and redraping facial and neck skin. A face lift can be done alone, or in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures. Scars are generally hidden in the hairline and in the normal creases of your skin. Appropriate candidates for a face lift include both men and women who want to look naturally younger. While having a face lift doesn’t stop the clock, the effects are lasting. Years later, patients continue to look better than if they’d never had a face lift at all.
